Construction of the Panchkula municipal corporation's headquarters in Sector 3 has stalled once more due to a lack of bidders for the remaining ₹17.6-crore work. This latest setback extends a three-year delay, leaving the civic body functioning without a unified office since its inception in 2010. The project, initiated in 2020, was halted in February 2023 after the original contractor's agreement was terminated. Operations remain fragmented across three different facilities, causing inconvenience to both employees and residents seeking services.

सेक्टर 3 में पंचकूला नगर निगम के मुख्यालय का निर्माण बाकी ₹17.6 करोड़ के काम के लिए बोली लगाने वालों की कमी के कारण एक बार फिर रुक गया है। इस नवीनतम बाधा से तीन साल की देरी बढ़ गई है, जिससे 2010 में अपनी स्थापना के बाद से नागरिक निकाय बिना एक एकीकृत कार्यालय के काम कर रहा है। 2020 में शुरू की गई परियोजना फरवरी 2023 में मूल ठेकेदार के समझौते को समाप्त करने के बाद रोक दी गई थी। कर्मचारियों और सेवाओं की तलाश करने वाले निवासियों दोनों के लिए असुविधा पैदा करते हुए, संचालन तीन अलग-अलग सुविधाओं में खंडित रहता है।
