Viksit Bharat Vision Needs All States, Villages to Develop Together: VP

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan stated that the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047 can only be achieved when all states, districts, and villages develop cohesively. Addressing the AIIMS Deoghar convocation, he emphasized that inclusive development hinges on investment in education, healthcare, skills, technology, and entrepreneurship, particularly for tribal and rural populations. He highlighted the significant expansion of medical education and healthcare infrastructure over the past decade, noting the increase in AIIMS from one to 12 and a doubling of medical colleges.

उपराष्ट्रपति सी पी राधाकृष्णन ने कहा कि ‘विकसित भारत’ 2047 का लक्ष्य तभी हासिल किया जा सकता है जब सभी राज्य, जिले और गांव मिलकर विकसित हों। एम्स देवघर के दीक्षांत समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि समावेशी विकास शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य सेवा, कौशल, प्रौद्योगिकी और उद्यमिता में निवेश पर निर्भर करता है, खासकर आदिवासी और ग्रामीण आबादी के लिए। उन्होंने पिछले दशक में चिकित्सा शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य सेवा के बुनियादी ढांचे के महत्वपूर्ण विस्तार पर प्रकाश डाला, जिसमें एम्स की संख्या एक से बढ़कर 12 होना और मेडिकल कॉलेजों का दोगुना होना शामिल है।
