CJI Refuses Meeting With INDIA Bloc MPs, Cites Law and Order

Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud has declined a request from INDIA bloc MPs for a meeting. He stated in a letter that the meeting could not be accommodated due to law and order concerns. Justice Suryakant, who received the request, responded the same day explaining the reasons for refusal. The Chief Justice emphasized that the Supreme Court's doors remain open to everyone, and individuals are free to approach the court directly.

भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश (CJI) डी.वाई. चंद्रचूड़ ने INDIA गठबंधन के सांसदों के मिलने के अनुरोध को ठुकरा दिया है। उन्होंने एक पत्र में कहा कि कानून और व्यवस्था की चिंताओं के कारण यह मुलाकात संभव नहीं हो पाई। न्यायमूर्ति सूर्यकांत, जिन्हें यह अनुरोध मिला था, ने उसी दिन इनकार के कारणों को बताते हुए जवाब दिया। मुख्य न्यायाधीश ने जोर देकर कहा कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट के दरवाजे सभी के लिए खुले हैं, और व्यक्ति सीधे अदालत में जाने के लिए स्वतंत्र हैं।
