The charge stems from an incident outside a nightclub in Derby, where Carse was briefly arrested and de-arrested without charges. He is alleged to have breached Regulation 3.2, which prohibits conduct that brings the ECB, cricket, or any cricketer into disrepute. The matter will now be referred to the independent Cricket Discipline Panel for adjudication. Carse has not played for England since the incident but continues to play county cricket.
