Retired Official's Organs Give Six New Life

A retired revenue official from Kottarakkara, G Radhakrishnan Potti, 67, has given a new lease of life to six individuals through organ donation after his death. Following his declaration as brain dead due to a haemorrhage, his family generously decided to donate his organs. His two kidneys, liver, skin, and two corneas were successfully transplanted to patients across multiple hospitals. The Kerala State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation coordinated the donation, with the health minister commending the family's noble gesture.
