US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is visiting India from October 20-21 and will meet Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani in Jamnagar. The meeting aims to explore processing Venezuelan crude oil to address record diesel prices and potential shortages caused by the war with Iran. Reliance operates the world's largest refining complex, capable of processing heavy Venezuelan crude, which the US seeks to utilize. Rubio stated that discussions would focus on Reliance's refining capabilities and past involvement in Venezuela.
