The GST Appellate Tribunal has ruled that passengers are eligible for a GST refund on cancelled flight tickets, provided airlines refund both the fare and the tax to passengers. The tribunal directed the Revenue Department to settle Singapore Airlines' refund claims, totaling over ₹45 lakh, within two weeks. This decision stems from eight refund claims filed by the airline for flights cancelled between October 2019 and March 2021 due to COVID-19.

GST अपीलीय ट्रिब्यूनल ने फैसला सुनाया है कि अगर एयरलाइंस यात्रियों को किराया और टैक्स दोनों वापस करती हैं, तो यात्रियों को रद्द फ्लाइट टिकटों पर GST रिफंड मिलेगा। ट्रिब्यूनल ने राजस्व विभाग को सिंगापुर एयरलाइंस के ₹45 लाख से ज़्यादा के रिफंड दावों को दो हफ़्तों में निपटाने का निर्देश दिया है। यह फैसला COVID-19 के कारण अक्टूबर 2019 और मार्च 2021 के बीच रद्द हुई फ्लाइट्स के लिए एयरलाइन द्वारा दायर आठ रिफंड याचिकाओं से जुड़ा है।
