The Supreme Court has dismissed a PIL that sought to make it mandatory for petrol pumps to disclose the ethanol content in fuel. The court found no merit in the plea, effectively ruling against the requirement for such disclosures. This decision means petrol stations will not be compelled to display the percentage of ethanol blended with petrol.
