Mumbai Manhole Accident Kills One Labourer

A tragic accident occurred in Mumbai's Santacruz East area when two labourers fell into a municipal manhole while cleaning a sewer line. One labourer, identified as Santosh Kashte, died from his injuries, while the other, Ajay, is in critical condition and receiving treatment. The incident happened near V.N. Desai Hospital on Golibar Road. The labourers were reportedly hired by a private contractor for a housing society's internal sewer line. The contractor, Vilas Jadhav, has been taken into police custody for questioning.
