This surge is attributed to improved housing demand, with sales bookings rising to Rs 1,063 crore in the second quarter compared to Rs 752 crore in the same period last year. Despite a 66% decline in net profit for the September quarter due to higher tax expenses, the company's total income for the first six months rose substantially to Rs 1,081.56 crore.
