Karnataka Drought Relief Measures To Begin Immediately

Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara announced that the first phase of drought relief measures will commence immediately across affected regions. Agriculture, revenue, and RDPR departments have been directed to start relief works without delay. The state government is releasing the first instalment of assistance to support farmers and communities. Karnataka has submitted a memorandum to the Centre seeking financial support, estimating crop and economic losses at Rs 18,000 crore and requesting Rs 3,500 crore as first-phase assistance.

कर्नाटक के उपमुख्यमंत्री जी परमेश्वर ने घोषणा की है कि सूखा राहत उपायों का पहला चरण तुरंत प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में शुरू होगा। कृषि, राजस्व और आरडीपीआर विभागों को बिना किसी देरी के राहत कार्य शुरू करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। राज्य सरकार किसानों और समुदायों की मदद के लिए सहायता की पहली किस्त जारी कर रही है। कर्नाटक ने केंद्र को वित्तीय सहायता के लिए एक ज्ञापन सौंपा है, जिसमें फसल और आर्थिक नुकसान का अनुमान 18,000 करोड़ रुपये लगाया गया है और पहले चरण की सहायता के रूप में 3,500 करोड़ रुपये का अनुरोध किया गया है।
