Gas Cylinder Blast At IIT-Bombay Campus Injures Five, Including Two Minors

A gas cylinder reportedly exploded while cooking in a shed used by private workers at an under-construction building on the IIT Powai campus on Thursday night. The incident occurred at 10:24 pm near Hostel No. 6, causing a fire. Five people, including two minors aged 12 and 9, sustained injuries. All injured individuals were reported to be in stable condition. Four were transferred to Kasturba Hospital, and one was admitted to Rajawadi Hospital for further treatment.

आई.आई.टी. पवई कैम्पस में गुरुवार रात एक निर्माणाधीन इमारत में निजी मजदूरों द्वारा इस्तेमाल की जाने वाली झोपड़ी में खाना बनाते समय कथित तौर पर गैस सिलेंडर फट गया। यह घटना रात 10:24 बजे हॉस्टल नंबर 6 के पास हुई, जिससे आग लग गई। दो नाबालिगों, जिनकी उम्र 12 और 9 साल थी, सहित पांच लोग घायल हो गए। सभी घायलों की हालत स्थिर बताई जा रही है। आगे के इलाज के लिए चार को कस्तूरबा अस्पताल और एक को राजावाड़ी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।
