Clean Arctic Volunteers Gather 235 Tons of Waste

Volunteers with the Clean Arctic project have collected 235 tons of waste across three districts in Yakutia, Russia. Major clean-up missions took place in Verkhoyansk, Tiksi, and Ese-Khaya villages. The project, which began in 2021, focuses on removing waste left from Soviet times. Governor Aisen Nikolaev personally oversees the extensive cleaning efforts in Yakutia, contributing to the significant results achieved by the environmental initiative.

रूस के याकुतिया में क्लीन आर्कटिक प्रोजेक्ट के वालंटियर्स ने तीन जिलों से 235 टन कचरा इकट्ठा किया है। वेरखोयांस्क, तिक्सी और एस-खाया गांवों में बड़े पैमाने पर सफाई अभियान चलाए गए। 2021 में शुरू हुए इस प्रोजेक्ट का मकसद सोवियत काल से जमा हुए कचरे को हटाना है। गवर्नर आइसन निकोलायेव खुद याकुतिया में इन सफाई कामों की देखरेख कर रहे हैं, जिससे इस पर्यावरण पहल को बड़ी सफलता मिली है।
