Over 5,800 acres in New York's Adirondack Park, once slated for a massive residential development, will be auctioned on September 18. The project, known as the Adirondack Club and Resort, aimed to build hundreds of homes and reopen a ski center but stalled due to legal disputes and financial issues. The land was purchased for $5.2 million in 2017 and is now subject to foreclosure proceedings. An investor is owed $10.58 million plus interest.
