UN-mandated investigators have reported that Israel has committed crimes against humanity, including extermination, torture, rape, and sexual violence, in the occupied West Bank. The Independent International Commission of Inquiry stated that Israeli military operations, alongside settler violence, constitute a widespread and systematic attack against civilians. This report was issued ahead of Israel's general election and follows a previous finding of genocide in Gaza. Israel's mission in Geneva rejected the report, calling it a misinformation campaign and demanding the commission's dissolution.
