An NGO named Arappor Iyakkam has lodged a complaint with the Tamil Nadu government, alleging significant irregularities in the affiliation inspection records of private teacher education colleges. The NGO claims that inspection conveners conducted multiple in-person inspections on the same day, even across distances exceeding 500 km. Furthermore, some professors were listed as principals of two colleges simultaneously, and faculty names appeared across numerous college entries. The NGO has urged the government to conduct an independent inquiry into these discrepancies and probe the managements of affiliated colleges.
