A seven-hour traffic block will significantly impact train operations in Sealdah division between Saturday night and Sunday morning. The block, scheduled from 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM, is necessary for track slewing and overhead electrification work. शनिवार रात से रविवार सुबह तक सियालदह डिवीजन में सात घंटे के ट्रैफिक ब्लॉक से ट्रेन संचालन पर काफी असर पड़ेगा। यह ब्लॉक रात 10:30 बजे से सुबह 5:30 बजे तक रहेगा और ट्रैक स्लीविंग और ओवरहेड इलेक्ट्रिफिकेशन के काम के लिए जरूरी है। रनाघाट, शांतिपुर और कृष्णानगर जैसे गंतव्यों की ओर जाने वाली कई ट्रेनें रद्द कर दी जाएंगी, छोटी कर दी जाएंगी या उनका मार्ग बदल दिया जाएगा। रेलवे अधिकारियों ने कहा कि सप्ताहांत में यात्रियों को कम से कम असुविधा हो, इसलिए यह समय चुना गया है। यह व्यवधान यात्री सेवाओं को प्रभावित करने वाले बुनियादी ढांचे के चल रहे उन्नयन को दर्शाता है।
