This donation, combined with the purchase of an additional eight acres from Plummer's estate, will protect a significant stretch of land along the Weston-Wilton border. The Aspetuck Land Trust aims to preserve open landscapes and create a connected forest reserve for future generations. The donated land was valued at approximately $900,000.
