Kuchipudi Performances To Be Part Of Godavari Pushkarams: Tourism Minister

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh announced that Kuchipudi dancers will perform at Anam Kala Kendram in Rajamahendravaram during the 12-day Godavari Pushkarams. This initiative aims to promote the classical dance form and attract tourists nationwide. The government is also creating a database of performing artists, including Kuchipudi dancers, theatre, and folk performers. Identity cards will be issued to eligible artistes to facilitate their access to social welfare pensions, recognizing their contribution to preserving traditional arts.
