Congress Leader Digvijaya Singh Supports Sanatan Dharma, Not Hindutva
The Hindu · india
Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh stated his support for Sanatan Dharma, differentiating it from Hindutva, which he attributed to Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Singh explained that Sanatan Dharma, as taught by his mother, embodies love and compassion, while asserting Hindutva lacks equality. He referenced the Quran, defining 'kafir' as someone outside any religion practicing unrighteousness. Singh made these remarks during a press conference in Bhopal ahead of his non-political 'Satya Sanatan Swabhiman Yatra' from Ujjain to Ayodhya, which he hopes will include people of all faiths.
