Keralam Appoints New Director of Health Services

The Keralam government has officially appointed V. Meenakshy as the new Director of Health Services. Meenakshy, who previously held the additional charge of the position, was the Additional Director of Health Services (Family Planning). A screening committee, chaired by the Chief Secretary, had met on September 15 to prepare a list of eligible medical officers for the role. This appointment finalizes the selection process for the key health department position.

केरल सरकार ने वी. मीनाक्षी को स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का नया निदेशक नियुक्त किया है। इससे पहले वे अतिरिक्त निदेशक (परिवार नियोजन) थीं और इस पद का अतिरिक्त कार्यभार संभाल रही थीं। मुख्य सचिव की अध्यक्षता वाली एक स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी ने 15 सितंबर को योग्य चिकित्सा अधिकारियों की सूची तैयार की थी। इस नियुक्ति से स्वास्थ्य विभाग के इस महत्वपूर्ण पद के लिए चयन प्रक्रिया पूरी हो गई है।
