Blockchain analysts strongly suspect North Korea's TraderTraitor hacking unit was behind the massive theft of approximately $6.3 billion from Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange. The hackers reportedly accessed funds within 20 minutes, marking the largest crypto theft on record. This group has a history of compromising crypto firms by targeting employees and hijacking payment approval systems. The FBI previously linked TraderTraitor to a $1.5 billion theft from Bybit, and the US government is investigating the Binance incident.
