The Houthis, once dismissed as ragtag insurgents, have built a formidable arsenal of drones and missiles, transforming into one of the Middle East's most dangerous militias. Their war machine is now increasingly built "from scratch" inside Yemen, with production happening out of sight in caves. While much of their weaponry is based on Iranian designs, some drones can be built largely without Iranian parts.
