Visakhapatnam Health Contract Staff Strike Enters Second Day

Contract employees in Visakhapatnam's Health and Medical Department have entered the second day of their indefinite strike. Organized by the Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health Contract Employees Joint Action Committee (JAC), the protest seeks regularisation of services and payment of full gross salary. Political representatives and trade union leaders have visited the protest site to express support for the employees' demands. Other associations, including nursing and lab technician groups, have also indicated solidarity, threatening to join if demands are not met.

विशाखापत्तनम के स्वास्थ्य और चिकित्सा विभाग के संविदा कर्मचारी अपनी अनिश्चितकालीन हड़ताल के दूसरे दिन में प्रवेश कर गए हैं। आंध्र प्रदेश मेडिकल एंड हेल्थ कॉन्ट्रैक्ट एम्प्लॉइज ज्वाइंट एक्शन कमेटी (JAC) द्वारा आयोजित इस विरोध प्रदर्शन में सेवाओं को नियमित करने और पूरा सकल वेतन भुगतान की मांग की जा रही है। राजनीतिक प्रतिनिधियों और ट्रेड यूनियन नेताओं ने कर्मचारियों की मांगों के प्रति समर्थन व्यक्त करने के लिए विरोध स्थल का दौरा किया है। नर्सिंग और लैब तकनीशियन समूहों सहित अन्य संघों ने भी एकजुटता का संकेत दिया है, और यदि मांगों को पूरा नहीं किया गया तो इसमें शामिल होने की धमकी दी है।
