The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has extended the closure of entry and exit gates at six metro stations until 5 pm on Monday, citing security reasons. These stations include Patel Chowk, Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, and Barakhamba Road. The restrictions were initially planned to end at 4 pm but were prolonged due to ongoing security arrangements for a Congress protest. Interchange facilities at the affected stations remain operational, and further updates will be provided after a review by security agencies.
