Vigilance officials have arrested four more employees of the roads and building (R&B) department in connection with a Rs 9.24 crore embezzlement case. This brings the total number of arrests to six, including two previously apprehended staffers. The accused allegedly forged documents and generated fake sanction orders to divert government funds into multiple personal accounts. These funds were processed through the integrated financial management system using altered bank details, with money routed to accounts of relatives and associates.
