DUSU Urges Delhi CM for Hostels, Women's Safety Measures on Campus

The union also called for enhanced women's safety measures, including improved street lighting around the campus and strengthened patrolling. These demands align with promises made by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) during the DUSU elections.

दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी स्टूडेंट्स यूनियन (DUSU) के नए चुने गए पदाधिकारियों ने दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा है। इसमें उन्होंने नए हॉस्टल बनाने और मौजूदा छात्र आवासों का कड़ाई से ऑडिट कराने की मांग की है। यूनियन ने कैंपस के आसपास स्ट्रीट लाइटें बेहतर करने और गश्त बढ़ाने जैसे महिला सुरक्षा उपायों को मजबूत करने की भी अपील की है। ये मांगें DUSU चुनावों के दौरान अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (ABVP) द्वारा किए गए वादों के अनुरूप हैं।
