Noida Authorities Impose ₹1.28 Crore Fine On Polluting Units

Authorities in Noida and Greater Noida have intensified actions against pollution sources following the implementation of GRAP-1, as the AQI surpassed 200. The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board inspected 30 sites, finding violations at 17 construction sites, leading to recommendations for a ₹75 lakh fine. Additionally, RMC and hot mix plants near Pusta Road were fined ₹1.28 crore for causing pollution. These measures aim to enforce environmental regulations and raise public awareness about pollution control during construction and industrial activities.
