Israeli forces demolished the homes of two Palestinian brothers, Ahmad and Hammouda al-Jaabeh, in Hebron. The brothers were killed on October 23 after attacking soldiers near the Farsh al-Hawa checkpoint, killing two and wounding three. The demolitions occurred during an eight-day military offensive and siege on the southern West Bank city. Israeli engineers rigged explosives in the homes for nine hours before detonating them. The offensive has displaced nearly 5,000 Palestinians from 780 families and led to numerous arrests.
