Ghaziabad residents travelling to Greater Noida West can expect relief from traffic jams with a new road planned over a drain in Shahberi. The Municipal Corporation has received approval for ₹131 crore to construct a 12-meter wide road over a 1,752-meter long drain. This project aims to provide an alternative route from NH-9, reducing pressure on existing roads and improving traffic flow. Beyond easing commutes, the initiative also seeks to enhance the region's drainage system. The construction will involve covering and reinforcing the drain, with provisions for maintenance access.

गाजियाबाद के शाहबेरी में नाले के ऊपर एक नई सड़क बनने से ग्रेटर नोएडा वेस्ट जाने वाले लोगों को ट्रैफिक जाम से राहत मिलने की उम्मीद है। नगर निगम को 1,752 मीटर लंबे नाले के ऊपर 12 मीटर चौड़ी सड़क बनाने के लिए ₹131 करोड़ की मंजूरी मिल गई है। इस प्रोजेक्ट का मकसद NH-9 से एक वैकल्पिक रास्ता देना है, जिससे मौजूदा सड़कों पर दबाव कम होगा और ट्रैफिक का फ्लो बेहतर होगा। ट्रैफिक जाम कम करने के अलावा, इस पहल से इलाके के ड्रेनेज सिस्टम को भी बेहतर बनाने की कोशिश की जाएगी। सड़क बनाने में नाले को ढकना और मजबूत करना शामिल होगा, साथ ही रखरखाव के लिए भी जगह छोड़ी जाएगी।
