Central Govt Hikes Dearness Allowance by 3%, Benefiting 48 Lakh Employees

The Central government has increased the DA for central government employees from 60% to 63%. This decision will benefit approximately 48 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners across the country. Employees will receive an additional 3% DA on their basic salary each month, while pensioners will see a 3% increase in their DR on basic pension. For instance, an employee with a basic salary of ₹18,000 will receive an extra ₹540 monthly, with a three-month arrear amounting to ₹1,620.

केंद्र सरकार ने केंद्रीय सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए महंगाई भत्ते (DA) को 60% से बढ़ाकर 63% कर दिया है। इस फैसले से देशभर में लगभग 48 लाख कर्मचारियों और 68 लाख पेंशनभोगियों को फायदा होगा। कर्मचारियों को हर महीने उनके मूल वेतन पर 3% अतिरिक्त DA मिलेगा, जबकि पेंशनभोगियों को उनके मूल पेंशन पर 3% अतिरिक्त DR में वृद्धि दिखेगी। उदाहरण के लिए, ₹18,000 मूल वेतन वाले कर्मचारी को हर महीने ₹540 अतिरिक्त मिलेंगे, जिसमें तीन महीने का एरियर ₹1,620 होगा।
