Abhijit Dipke Slams Tiranga March Ban, Questions Democracy Under Modi Govt

At a CJP press conference at Jantar Mantar, Abhijit Dipke and other speakers strongly criticised the ban on the Tiranga March. Speakers stated that prohibiting the unfurling of the national flag was a practice during colonial rule, and a similar situation has now arisen under the Narendra Modi government. They accused the government of valuing Gyanesh Kumar more than the Tiranga, alleging his involvement in "vote theft". The speakers expressed concern over the current state of democratic freedoms.

CJP की जंतर मंतर में एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में, अभिजीत दिपके और अन्य वक्ताओं ने तिरंगा मार्च पर लगे प्रतिबंध की कड़ी आलोचना की। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराने पर रोक लगाना औपनिवेशिक शासन के दौरान की एक प्रथा थी, और अब नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार के तहत ऐसी ही स्थिति उत्पन्न हो गई है। उन्होंने सरकार पर तिरंगे से ज्यादा ज्ञान प्रकाश को महत्व देने का आरोप लगाया, और "वोट चोरी" में उनकी संलिप्तता का आरोप लगाया। वक्ताओं ने लोकतांत्रिक स्वतंत्रता की वर्तमान स्थिति पर चिंता व्यक्त की।
