बैंक यूनियनों ने अपनी मांगों को लेकर हड़ताल का ऐलान किया है। यूनियनों का कहना है कि 2015 में ही बैंकों ने पांच दिन के कार्य सप्ताह पर सहमति जताई थी, जिसमें दूसरे और चौथे शनिवार को छुट्टी तय हुई थी। यह मामला 2020 में फिर उठा और 8 मार्च 2024 को हुए वेतन समझौते में इसे अंतिम रूप दिया गया। यह हड़ताल इन्हीं पुरानी मांगों पर चल रहे विवाद को दर्शाती है।
