China Securities Watchdog Seeks Investor Ideas Amid Stock Selloff

China's securities regulator held a seminar with market participants to gather suggestions for improving capital markets amid a deepening stock selloff. CSRC Chairman met with listed companies and financial experts to discuss proposals. These include expanding long-term capital investment, encouraging higher dividends from listed firms, and studying new market-friendly measures. The blue-chip CSI300 Index recently hit a one-year low, while the tech-focused STAR50 Index has fallen significantly from its July peak.
