India's Diesel Exports Reach 13-Month High Amid Global Supply Disruptions
Mint · business
India's diesel exports surged to a 13-month high in October, averaging 0.71 million barrels per day. This increase of 19.6% over September was driven by global supply disruptions from the West Asia conflict and the Russia-Ukraine war, which tightened international markets. Reliance Industries led the surge, accounting for nearly 78% of total exports with approximately 0.55 million bpd. Public-sector refiners also increased their overseas shipments, capitalizing on attractive international refining margins and positioning India as a key global supplier.
