Delhi Police Clarify Cops Wore Shoes in Bangla Sahib Passage, Allege Malicious Intent

Delhi Police have clarified a video circulating on social media that showed police officials allegedly wearing shoes on the premises of Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. Police stated the officials were in a common passage used by all devotees to reach the point where shoes are removed before entering the main shrine. They asserted that the video was circulated with malicious intent to outrage religious sentiments. Legal action is being initiated against those spreading the video. The incident occurred while police were deployed outside the Gurdwara to apprehend protesters.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहे एक वीडियो पर सफाई दी है, जिसमें पुलिस अधिकारी कथित तौर पर गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब परिसर में जूते पहने हुए दिखाई दे रहे थे। पुलिस ने बताया कि अधिकारी उस आम रास्ते पर थे जिसका इस्तेमाल सभी श्रद्धालु मुख्य गुरुद्वारे में प्रवेश करने से पहले जूते उतारने की जगह तक जाने के लिए करते हैं। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि वीडियो धार्मिक भावनाओं को भड़काने के दुर्भावनापूर्ण इरादे से फैलाया गया था। वीडियो फैलाने वालों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू की जा रही है। यह घटना तब हुई जब पुलिस प्रदर्शनकारियों को पकड़ने के लिए गुरुद्वारे के बाहर तैनात थी।
