London police arrested 48 individuals outside the US Embassy on Saturday during a protest supporting Palestine Action, a group designated as terrorist by the UK government. Most arrests were for expressing support for the proscribed organisation, with officers continuing to make further arrests at the scene. Protesters held placards and chanted slogans in solidarity with Palestine. A similar vigil in Edinburgh also saw investigations into T-shirt and banner displays. These demonstrations precede a Supreme Court hearing on the group's ban.
