Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Nagpur Improvement Trust have launched an intensive anti-encroachment drive on the Zingabai Takli-Godhani road following two fatal accidents in 34 days. The latest incident involved the death of Ashwini Phalke, who was crushed by a truck while saving her son. Local representatives had repeatedly raised concerns about illegal extensions and narrowed carriageways for years, questioning why action was only taken after a tragedy. The drive has already led to the demolition of several sheds, with more identified for removal.

नागपुर म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन और नागपुर इम्प्रूवमेंट ट्रस्ट ने ज़िंगाबाई तकली-गोधानी रोड पर सघन अतिक्रमण-रोधी अभियान शुरू किया है। यह अभियान पिछले 34 दिनों में हुए दो जानलेवा हादसों के बाद चलाया जा रहा है। हालिया घटना में अश्विनी फाल्के की मौत हो गई थी, जब वह अपने बेटे को बचाते हुए एक ट्रक के नीचे आ गईं। स्थानीय प्रतिनिधियों ने सालों से अवैध विस्तार और संकरी सड़कों को लेकर चिंता जताई थी, और सवाल उठाया था कि किसी दुखद घटना के बाद ही कार्रवाई क्यों की गई। इस अभियान के तहत पहले ही कई शेड गिराए जा चुके हैं और और भी गिराए जाने हैं।
