NASA Prepares for Moon Base With SpaceX and Blue Origin

NASA is on track for docking exercises with SpaceX and Blue Origin lunar landers next year, according to administrator Jared Isaacman. This mission echoes the rapid pace of the Apollo program, aiming to establish a moon base near the lunar south pole. Astronauts will practice docking with both Blue Origin's Blue Ghost and SpaceX's Starship. The agency is keeping its options open for the Artemis IV lunar lander, scheduled for 2028, between the two private companies.
