Indian stock markets continued their upward trend for the fifth consecutive trading session morning. The BSE Sensex rose over 368 points to trade at 77,287.91, while the NSE Nifty climbed 95.91 points to reach 23,906.75. This rally occurred despite a significant setback for President Donald Trump's Republican Party in the US midterm elections, where the Democratic Party secured a majority in the House of Representatives. The market is also buoyed by the return of foreign institutional investors, who made substantial net purchases of Indian equities.
