Mumbai University to Lift Restrictions on Fourth-Year UG Courses

Mumbai University and the Maharashtra government plan to remove restrictions for fourth-year undergraduate programmes under the National Education Policy. The requirement for a postgraduate department and seat intake limits for fourth-year courses will be lifted for the upcoming academic session. This change will allow all eligible students completing their three-year UG program to pursue honours, honours with research, or master's pathways. The university will soon release detailed guidelines to ensure quality and fine-tune the implementation process for all state colleges.

मुंबई यूनिवर्सिटी और महाराष्ट्र सरकार नेशनल एजुकेशन पॉलिसी के तहत चौथे साल के अंडरग्रेजुएट प्रोग्राम के लिए पाबंदियां हटाने की योजना बना रही हैं। चौथे साल के कोर्स के लिए पोस्टग्रेजुएट डिपार्टमेंट की ज़रूरत और सीट इंटेक की सीमाएं आने वाले एकेडमिक सेशन के लिए हटा दी जाएंगी। इस बदलाव से तीन साल का यूजी प्रोग्राम पूरा करने वाले सभी योग्य छात्र ऑनर्स, ऑनर्स विद रिसर्च या मास्टर डिग्री के रास्ते चुन सकेंगे। यूनिवर्सिटी जल्द ही सभी राज्य कॉलेजों के लिए क्वालिटी सुनिश्चित करने और इम्प्लीमेंटेशन प्रोसेस को बेहतर बनाने के लिए डिटेल्ड गाइडलाइंस जारी करेगी।
