Kerala VACB Registers Two FIRs in CMRL Pay-off Case; Pinarayi Vijayan, Daughter Named

The Kerala Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) has registered two First Information Reports (FIRs) concerning alleged financial transactions between Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL) and Exalogic Solutions. Former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter T. Veena, and former Minister P. A. Mohamed Riyas are named as accused. The cases stem from allegations of misuse of public office, improper financial benefits, and hawala transactions, following scrutiny by the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate.

केरल की विजिलेंस एंड एंटी-करप्शन ब्यूरो (VACB) ने कोचीन मिनरल्स एंड रूटाइल लिमिटेड (CMRL) और एक्सलॉजिक सॉल्यूशंस के बीच कथित वित्तीय लेनदेन के संबंध में दो फर्स्ट इंफॉर्मेशन रिपोर्ट्स (FIRs) दर्ज की हैं। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री पिनाराई विजयन, उनकी बेटी टी. वीणा और पूर्व मंत्री पी. ए. मोहम्मद रियास को आरोपी बनाया गया है। ये मामले इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट और एनफोर्समेंट डायरेक्टोरेट की जांच के बाद लोक पद के दुरुपयोग, अनुचित वित्तीय लाभ और हवाला लेनदेन के आरोपों से उपजे हैं।
