Himachal Pradesh has increased the diet money for students participating in school competitions. All students, regardless of age, will now receive ₹250 daily for food, amounting to ₹7,500 per month. Previously, Under-19 students received only ₹120 daily, while Under-14 students received ₹250. This decision, directed by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, aims to ensure adequate nutrition for students engaged in sports and training camps. The enhanced diet money will support the energy needs of young athletes, covering essential items like milk, fruits, and dals.

हिमाचल प्रदेश ने स्कूली प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेने वाले छात्रों के लिए डाइट मनी बढ़ा दी है। अब सभी छात्रों को, चाहे उनकी उम्र कुछ भी हो, भोजन के लिए प्रतिदिन ₹250 मिलेंगे, जो महीने में ₹7,500 होंगे। पहले, 19 साल से कम उम्र के छात्रों को प्रतिदिन केवल ₹120 मिलते थे, जबकि 14 साल से कम उम्र के छात्रों को ₹250 मिलते थे। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू के निर्देश पर लिए गए इस फैसले का उद्देश्य खेल और प्रशिक्षण शिविरों में लगे छात्रों के लिए पर्याप्त पोषण सुनिश्चित करना है। बढ़ी हुई डाइट मनी युवा एथलीटों की ऊर्जा की जरूरतों को पूरा करेगी, जिसमें दूध, फल और दाल जैसी आवश्यक चीजें शामिल हैं।
