Commuters in Delhi-NCR are facing significant travel disruptions on Saturday, October 10, due to security arrangements for a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has closed entry and exit at 45 stations from Friday night until Saturday evening. Indian Railways has also cancelled several services connected to New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations for a 10-hour period. Passengers travelling to Indira Gandhi International Airport are advised to allow extra time and consider alternative transport, as road traffic is also expected to be congested with diversions.
