Bihar Farmers Can Apply For Crop Damage Subsidy

Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha has urged eligible farmers in flood-affected districts to apply online for agricultural input subsidy. The subsidy aims to compensate for crop damage suffered in late September floods, impacting 289 panchayats across nine districts. Both landowners and tenants can benefit by submitting land possession certificates. The subsidy rates vary based on land type, with a maximum of 2 hectares eligible per farmer. This financial aid is intended to support farmers in their upcoming rabi season cultivation.

बिहार के कृषि मंत्री विजय कुमार सिन्हा ने बाढ़ प्रभावित जिलों के योग्य किसानों से कृषि इनपुट सब्सिडी के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने का आग्रह किया है। यह सब्सिडी सितंबर के अंत में आई बाढ़ से हुए फसल नुकसान की भरपाई के लिए है, जिससे नौ जिलों के 289 पंचायतों में असर पड़ा है। भूमि स्वामित्व प्रमाण पत्र जमा करके जमीनदार और बटाईदार दोनों लाभ उठा सकते हैं। सब्सिडी की दरें भूमि के प्रकार के आधार पर अलग-अलग होंगी, जिसमें प्रति किसान अधिकतम 2 हेक्टेयर तक की पात्रता होगी। यह वित्तीय सहायता किसानों को आगामी रबी सीजन की खेती में मदद करने के लिए है।
