Ghaziabad to Get Green Mobility Corridor From Shaheed Sthal to NH-9

The Ghaziabad Development Authority and National Highways Authority of India are planning a green mobility corridor along GT Road, connecting Shaheed Sthal metro station to NH-9. This project includes widening the Thakurdwara flyover to four lanes and constructing a double-decker flyover on NH-9 to bypass existing structures and improve connectivity to Noida. The initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion and vehicular pollution in the area, which currently experiences significant traffic volume. Further meetings are scheduled to advance the project's planning stages.

गाजियाबाद डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी और नेशनल हाईवे अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया जीटी रोड पर शहीद स्थल मेट्रो स्टेशन को एनएच-9 से जोड़ने वाले ग्रीन मोबिलिटी कॉरिडोर की योजना बना रहे हैं। इस प्रोजेक्ट में ठाकुरद्वारा फ्लाईओवर को चार लेन तक चौड़ा करना और मौजूदा ढांचों को बायपास करने और नोएडा तक कनेक्टिविटी को बेहतर बनाने के लिए एनएच-9 पर डबल-डेकर फ्लाईओवर का निर्माण शामिल है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य क्षेत्र में ट्रैफिक जाम और वाहनों से होने वाले प्रदूषण को कम करना है, जहाँ वर्तमान में काफी ट्रैफिक रहता है। प्रोजेक्ट की योजना के अगले चरणों को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए और बैठकें निर्धारित हैं।
