Kerala Universities May Develop Own ERP Systems Amid K-Reap Complaints

Times of India · education

Kerala's higher education minister Roji John announced that universities in the state will be allowed to develop and use their own enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. This decision comes after complaints surfaced regarding the performance of K-Reap, the current ERP platform managed by a Maharashtra-based company. The University of Kerala has already decided to transition to a custom-developed system. The Kerala State Higher Education Council is exploring ways to maintain uninterrupted inter-university services during this shift, potentially through a common software for shared functions.
