Woman Climbs Tower After Lover Refuses Marriage

A woman climbed a 50-foot high-tension tower near Tansa river in Palghar after her married lover refused to marry her. She remained atop the tower for nearly two hours, threatening to jump if he refused. Police and family members persuaded her to come down after her lover assured her he would marry her and leave his wife. The incident caused a significant standoff until she was safely brought down.
