Meesho CEO Vidit Aatrey stated at the ET Startup Awards 2026 that early-stage Indian founders are increasingly considering going public sooner, potentially bypassing private fundraising. He contrasted India's market, where small and large IPOs are common, with the US market where small listings are rare. Aatrey shared Meesho's experience of listing while still developing its supply chain, emphasizing transparency and accurate stock pricing. He also noted that an IPO process typically spans six to nine months, requiring continuous investor communication and managing expectations.
Meesho CEO
