CJP Leaders Withdraw Delhi HC Plea Challenging Judicial Custody

Cockroach Janta Party leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have withdrawn their plea from the Delhi High Court challenging the extension of their judicial custody. Justice Subramonium Prasad advised them to await the outcome of a hearing before the Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) and approach the appellate court if their grievance persists. The court noted that a petition under Article 226 was not the appropriate remedy.

कॉकक्रोच जनता पार्टी के नेताओं सौरभ दास और आशुतोष रंका ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट से अपनी न्यायिक हिरासत की अवधि बढ़ाने को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका वापस ले ली है। जस्टिस सुब्रमण्यम प्रसाद ने उन्हें विशेष कार्यकारी मजिस्ट्रेट (SEM) के समक्ष सुनवाई के नतीजे का इंतजार करने और यदि उनकी शिकायत बनी रहती है तो अपीलीय अदालत जाने की सलाह दी। अदालत ने कहा कि अनुच्छेद 226 के तहत याचिका उचित उपाय नहीं थी।
